Echosec Systems is looking for a Content Writer with a technical background to support the marketing and sales teams. The role involves bidding on RFPs, producing product documentation, case studies, risk reports, blog posts, and providing copy editing support for web and email copy. You will be joining a company that values continuous improvement in its security software products, and regularly produces new materials to support sales enablement and client success. As a Content Writer you’ll have the opportunity to be creative when explaining the ever-improving Echosec Systems solutions, our selling points, and how we meet the business objectives that prospects can expect to fulfill with our Platform.

This position has a high degree of autonomy and will work closely with the Director of Marketing, Chief Revenue Officer, and Product Manager to ensure all materials are accurate and in line with our positioning, messaging, and brand. Previous experience in technical writing is a strong asset, however this role also involves a high degree of creativity.

  • Deliver high quality proposals that impress, and are clear, concise, and easy to read.
  • Develop a broad understanding of Echosec Systems’ business end-to-end, including our products, services and support, as well as commercial and technical elements.
  • Communicate effectively and with an eye to educate, turning complicated ideas into concise content that people with little previous knowledge can understand.
  • Understand a prospect’s needs and objectives, positioning our solutions and services to explain how we best meet them.
  • Plan the creation of business proposals and RFP responses according to their requirements.
  • Leverage existing materials and tools, as well as create new content to prepare your proposal.
  • Engage with different teams (Product, Sales, Marketing) to gather information to respond to requests.
  • Work with the marketing team to develop web content that appeals to and answers the questions of their target audience, and supports their SEO strategy.
  • Create risk reports to support the sales team in winning new business.
